It is not affliction itself, but affliction rightly borne that does us good.
Aughley
...not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
Romans 12:11-13
Our affliction may be tiring... painful... seemingly endless... shoving us to our limit... but in all adversities we face, God walks with us... holding us... coaching us how to handle them... we may not see how He works for our good but He continues to give us cues for each step we have to take , He is keeping us in His strength, giving us courage and healing our wound. We just have to fix our eyes on Jesus, keep the faith alive, continually remind us of His word, seeking comfort in them, for God is with us... allowing us to develop patience over our adversities for blessings that suit us best, and character beyond reproach.
