PURGED AND FREED

That moment we surrender our life to the Lord, everything becomes new within us." Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:16-18  The Lord cleanses our sins red as crimson into white as snow.  The blemish of my past overwhelms me with so much sadness whenever a flash back in my mind would cross once in a while, but I believe more in the healing power of my Lord and in His promise that He had blotted out that splotch of my shortcomings. No matter how worst our lifestyle was, or wretched our person may have been, God will transform us according to His glory and holiness. We won’t have to be guilty of our former sins as we live to testify for His mercy and grace, because God has dealt with our transgressions right that moment of our salvation. "For you, brethren, have been called to liberty;…." - (Galatians 5:13) If we experience the feeling of self reprisal, it is no longer necessary because God has accomplished for us already the purging part. We just need to trust Him, and live that liberating grace in us. “…only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another “- (Galatians 5:13)
